Jumlah pengunjung dan pelanggan internet di Indonesia cukup besar dan terus berkembang sesuai dengan bertambahnya kedewasaan dan kebutuhan masyarakat akan informasi. Keberadaan internet yang menjangkau luas dan memiliki kemampuan untuk diakses 24 jam penuh telah membuat internet sebagai salah satu media potensial untuk pemasangan iklan. Terdapat tiga jenis iklan yang ada di internet saat ini yaitu iklan tampilan, iklan mini dan pencarian situs. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor-faktor demografis umur, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, dan profesi dengan pemilihan jenis situs iklan mini dan kualitas pelayanan yang diinginkan oleh pengguna situs iklan mini, beserta pengaruh jumlah kunjungan terhadap minat pemasang iklan pada situs iklan mini di internet. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengirimkan daftar pertanyaan yang berbentuk e-mail melalui mailing-list kepada 500 responden dalam analisis pemilihan jenis situs dan kualitas pelayan yang diinginkan, dan mengirim langsung daftar pertanyaan kepada para pengelola situs iklan mini di internet. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan analisis diskriminan, kuadratkhi, analisis klaster dan analisis regresi liniear berganda. Hasil dari penelitian adalah : kecepatan merupakan kebutuhan terpenting bagi pengunjung situs iklan mini di internet, semakin besar jumlah kunjungan pada suatu situs iklan mini di internet mengakibatkan minat pemasang iklan pada situs tersebut menjadi besar, tidak adanya perbedaan persepsi antar grup dari faktor umur, jenis kelamin, dan tingkat pendidikan bagi jenis situs iklan mini yang dikunjungi, kecuali grup dari faktor profesi yang memiliki perbedaan persepsi bagi jenis situs iklan mini di internet.

The count of internet customers and visitors in Indonesia has increased and growthed. The internet can reach wide area and afford to be access 24 hours full, it will be make internet one of potential media for advertisement. The purpose of this study is to get information about relationship between demography factors of age, gender, grade of education and profession in choosing the type of slight advertising site and the quality of service needed by the consumer of slight advertisement site, and also influence the visiting amount about the interest of consumer of slight advertisement site on internet. Collecting of data done by sending the list of question which bent e-mail through mailing list to 500 respondences in analize of choosing the type of site and quality of service needed, and send the list of question directly to performer slight advertisement site on internet. Preparing of the data done by using discriminantce analysis, and chisquare, cluster analysis and double linear regretion analysis produce : velocity is the important requisites of consumer of slight advertisement site on internet; the more visiting of slight advertisement site on internet gives interest to advertisement consumer on that site become bigger, with no difference of perception between group from demography factor age, gender, and grade of education for the variety of sligh advertisement site which visited, except the group from profession factor which have different perception for the variety of sligh advertisement site on internet.
